Almond Price in Poland (CIF) - 2023
The average almond import price stood at $7,639 per ton in May 2023, picking up by 15% against the previous month. In general, the import price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in December 2022 an increase of 55% against the previous month. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $12,033 per ton. From January 2023 to May 2023, the average import prices failed to regain momentum.
As there is only one major supplying country, the average price level is determined by prices for Germany.
From May 2022 to May 2023, the rate of growth in terms of prices for Slovakia amounted to +19.6% per month.
Almond Price in Poland (FOB) - 2022
In 2022, the average almond export price amounted to $6,756 per ton, therefore, remained relatively stable against the previous year. In general, the export price recorded a abrupt slump. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2016 an increase of 29% against the previous year. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $14,296 per ton. From 2017 to 2022, the average export prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Latvia ($9,899 per ton), while the average price for exports to Slovakia ($5,414 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Ukraine (-1.1%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.
Almond Imports in Poland
In 2022, overseas purchases of almonds decreased by -69.7% to 91 tons for the first time since 2018, thus ending a three-year rising trend. Overall, imports, however, continue to indicate tangible growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 with an increase of 116%. As a result, imports reached the peak of 301 tons, and then declined markedly in the following year.

Almond Exports in Poland
