Bath Preparations Price in Indonesia (CIF) - 2022

In March 2022, the average bath preparations import price amounted to $4,508 per ton, which is down by -62.1% against the previous month. Overall, the import price showed a abrupt decrease. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in February 2022 when the average import price increased by 429% month-to-month. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the peak figure at $19,159 per ton in May 2021; however, from June 2021 to March 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Germany ($41,867 per ton), while the price for Thailand ($1,354 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From March 2021 to March 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Malaysia (+17.4%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.

Bath Preparations Price in Indonesia (FOB) - 2022

In 2022, the average bath preparations export price amounted to $2,756 per ton, remaining stable against the previous year. In general, export price indicated tangible growth from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +3.5% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, bath preparations export price decreased by -14.3% against 2019 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 an increase of 73% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the maximum at $3,216 per ton in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Switzerland ($10,616 per ton), while the average price for exports to Turkey amounted to $2,610 per ton.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Thailand (+8.9%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Bath Preparations Imports in Indonesia

For the third year in a row, Indonesia recorded decline in overseas purchases of perfumed bath salts and other bath preparations, which decreased by -39.5% to 363 tons in 2022. In general, imports recorded a precipitous decline. The smallest decline of -5.8% was in 2021.

In value terms, bath preparations imports rose to $2M in 2022. Overall, imports saw a deep downturn.
