In March 2022, the average borates; peroxoborates (perborates) import price amounted to $746 per ton, waning by -2.6% against the previous month. Over the period from March 2021 to March 2022, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.7%. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in February 2022 an increase of 27% m-o-m. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $766 per ton, and then contracted slightly in the following month.
Average prices varied noticeably amongst the major supplying countries. In March 2022, the country with the highest price was Russia ($744 per ton), while the price for Turkey stood at $724 per ton.
From March 2021 to March 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Russia (+1.9%).
