Cutting Blade Price in Italy (FOB) - 2023
The average cutting blade export price stood at $29,664 per ton in June 2023, with an increase of 17% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in August 2022 when the average export price increased by 34% month-to-month. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the peak figure at $32,179 per ton in January 2023; however, from February 2023 to June 2023, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In June 2023, the country with the highest price was Mexico ($55,099 per ton), while the average price for exports to Australia ($7,045 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to France (+5.9%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the average cutting blade import price amounted to $16,699 per ton, reducing by -19% against the previous year. In general, the import price continues to indicate a mild descent.
