In January 2022, the average fish; live, carp export price amounted to $1,156 per ton, dropping by -11.3% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price, however, recorded a slight expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in July 2021 an increase of 137% m-o-m. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $2,783 per ton. From August 2021 to January 2022, the the average export prices failed to regain momentum.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Ukraine ($1,732 per ton), while the average price for exports to Kazakhstan totaled $487 per ton.

From January 2021 to January 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Kazakhstan (+3.3%).

From 2021 to 2022, the growth of the exports remained at a lower figure.

The total export value increased at an average annual rate of +8.3% from 2019 to 2022; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded in certain years. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 when exports increased by 43% against the previous year. As a result, the exports attained the peak of $1M. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of the exports remained at a lower figure.
