Groundnuts Price in the Czech Republic (CIF) - 2022
In 2022, the average groundnuts import price amounted to $2,235 per ton, falling by -5.1% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 an increase of 19% against the previous year. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $2,356 per ton, and then contracted in the following year.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Hungary ($4,262 per ton), while the price for Germany ($1,440 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Spain (+32.4%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Groundnuts Price in the Czech Republic (FOB) - 2022
The average groundnuts export price stood at $3,446 per ton in 2022, jumping by 44% against the previous year. Overall, export price indicated perceptible growth from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +4.0% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, groundnuts export price increased by +135.3% against 2018 indices. As a result, the export price reached the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Slovakia ($4,064 per ton), while the average price for exports to Hungary ($1,103 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Slovakia (+5.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.
Groundnuts Imports in the Czech Republic
For the third year in a row, the Czech Republic recorded decline in supplies from abroad of ground-nut (in-shell), which decreased by -33.3% to 369 tons in 2022. Over the period under review, imports faced a dramatic decrease. The smallest decline of -4.6% was in 2020.
In value terms, groundnuts imports fell significantly to $826K in 2022. In general, imports showed a deep slump. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 when imports increased by 7.1% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of $1.6M. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.

Groundnuts Exports in the Czech Republic
After three years of growth, shipments abroad of ground-nut (in-shell) decreased by -66.4% to 40 tons in 2022. Overall, exports, however, enjoyed a significant increase. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 with an increase of 956% against the previous year.
In value terms, groundnuts exports reduced sharply to $137K in 2022. Over the period under review, exports, however, saw significant growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 when exports increased by 1,057% against the previous year.
