In March 2022, the average hand saws export price amounted to $9,720 per ton, which is down by -2% against the previous month. Overall, the export price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in September 2021 an increase of 20% month-to-month. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the peak figure at $10,400 per ton in October 2021; however, from November 2021 to March 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Sweden ($26,152 per ton), while the average price for exports to Russia ($8,948 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From March 2021 to March 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Russia (+2.1%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.

In March 2022, the average hand saws import price amounted to $9,589 per ton, with a decrease of -9.2% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in September 2021 an increase of 37% against the previous month. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $11,579 per ton. From October 2021 to March 2022, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
