Insulating Fittings Price in Lithuania (CIF) - 2023
The average insulating fittings import price stood at $22,217 per ton in October 2023, with a decrease of -16.3% against the previous month. Overall, the import price recorded a noticeable downturn. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in February 2023 when the average import price increased by 70% month-to-month. The import price peaked at $59,873 per ton in June 2023; however, from July 2023 to October 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In October 2023, the country with the highest price was Poland ($60,772 per ton), while the price for Slovakia ($8,364 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From October 2022 to October 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Estonia (+5.8%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Insulating Fittings Price in Lithuania (FOB) - 2022
In 2022, the average insulating fittings export price amounted to $38,948 per ton, surging by 29% against the previous year. Overall, the export price enjoyed a buoyant increase. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2015 when the average export price increased by 153%. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $50,538 per ton. From 2016 to 2022, the average export prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Moldova ($59,678 per ton), while the average price for exports to Estonia ($12,528 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Italy (+10.8%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Insulating Fittings Imports in Lithuania
In 2022, after three years of growth, there was significant decline in supplies from abroad of insulating fittings for electrical purposes, when their volume decreased by -22.1% to 28 tons. In general, total imports indicated prominent growth from 2019 to 2022: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +5.5% over the last three-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, imports increased by +17.5% against 2019 indices. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of 41% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of 35 tons, and then reduced markedly in the following year.
In value terms, insulating fittings imports shrank notably to $947K in 2022. Overall, imports, however, posted resilient growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 when imports increased by 56% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of $1.3M, and then shrank significantly in the following year.
