Lead Ore Price in Serbia (FOB) - 2023
The average lead ore export price stood at $3,071 per ton in November 2023, waning by -13.6% against the previous month. Over the period from November 2022 to November 2023, it increased at an average monthly rate of +2.3%. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in February 2023 an increase of 28% against the previous month. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $3,745 per ton. From March 2023 to November 2023, the the average export prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was the UK ($9,438 per ton), while the average price for exports to Bulgaria ($1,444 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the UK (+5.6%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.

In 2022, the average lead ore import price amounted to $1,328 per ton, approximately reflecting the previous year. In general, the import price, however, continues to indicate pronounced growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 when the average import price increased by 17%. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $1,328 per ton, leveling off in the following year.
Average prices varied noticeably amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Bulgaria ($1,342 per ton), while the price for Turkey amounted to $1,275 per ton.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Nigeria (+29.2%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
