Meat Dishes Price in Belgium (FOB) - 2023
The average meat dishes export price stood at $5,777 per ton in June 2023, dropping by -3.8% against the previous month. Over the last twelve-month period, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.3%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in November 2022 when the average export price increased by 21% month-to-month. The export price peaked at $6,006 per ton in May 2023, and then fell slightly in the following month.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In June 2023, the country with the highest price was Luxembourg ($8,542 per ton), while the average price for exports to Sweden ($4,402 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Luxembourg (+2.7%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In June 2023, the average meat dishes import price amounted to $6,697 per ton, picking up by 4.2% against the previous month. Over the period from June 2022 to June 2023, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.9%.
