Nail and Bolt Price in Germany (FOB) - 2023
The average nail and bolt export price stood at $9,557 per ton in June 2023, remaining stable against the previous month. Over the last twelve months, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.1%. The growth pace was the most rapid in November 2022 when the average export price increased by 6% month-to-month. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the peak figure at $9,564 per ton in May 2023, and then shrank in the following month.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was the United States ($12,832 per ton), while the average price for exports to Sweden ($5,935 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Italy (+2.3%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In June 2023, the average nail and bolt import price amounted to $5,572 per ton, leveling off at the previous month. Over the period from June 2022 to June 2023, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.1%. The growth pace was the most rapid in March 2023 when the average import price increased by 9.7% against the previous month. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the peak figure at $5,784 per ton in April 2023; however, from May 2023 to June 2023, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was France ($11,862 per ton), while the price for Thailand ($2,047 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by France (+7.6%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Nail and Bolt Exports in Germany
Nail and bolt exports from Germany reduced modestly to 934K tons in 2022, which is down by -4.4% compared with the previous year.
