Olive Oil Price in Guatemala (CIF) - 2022
In 2022, the average olive oil import price amounted to $3,752 per ton, dropping by -1.7% against the previous year. Overall, the import price showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 an increase of 17% against the previous year. The import price peaked at $4,638 per ton in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.
Average prices varied noticeably amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the countries with the highest prices were the United States ($4,336 per ton) and Italy ($4,022 per ton), while the price for El Salvador ($3,565 per ton) and Spain ($3,711 per ton) were amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by El Salvador (+1.4%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
