Plastic Furniture Price in the United States (CIF) - 2023
In September 2023, the average plastic furniture import price amounted to $7.9 per unit, declining by -14.5% against the previous month. In general, the import price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in August 2023 an increase of 18% m-o-m. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $9.2 per unit, and then contracted in the following month.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In September 2023, the country with the highest price was Mexico ($13.1 per unit), while the price for Brazil ($3.0 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From September 2022 to September 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Israel (+5.4%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average plastic furniture export price stood at $19 per unit in 2022, rising by 7.2% against the previous year. Over the last decade, it increased at an average annual rate of +1.3%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 when the average export price increased by 19% against the previous year. The export price peaked in 2022 and is expected to retain growth in years to come.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Australia ($80 per unit), while the average price for exports to Canada ($16 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
