In August 2023, the average aluminium; powders and flakes import price amounted to $3,548 per ton, with a decrease of -5.5% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in November 2022 when the average import price increased by 60% m-o-m. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $5,400 per ton. From December 2022 to August 2023, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was the UK ($19,502 per ton), while the price for India amounted to $5,962 per ton.

From August 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the Netherlands (+13.7%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
