In December 2023, the average export price for cellulose ethers; (other than carboxymethylcellulose and its salts), in primary formses amounted to $3,029 per ton, increasing by 2.3% against the previous month. In general, the export price, however, continues to indicate a pronounced curtailment. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in March 2023 when the average export price increased by 3.8% against the previous month.
