Price for Cereal Flour; of Maize (Corn) in Ukraine (FOB) - 2022
In 2022, the average export price for cereal flour; of maize (corn) amounted to $402 per ton, dropping by -56.1% against the previous year. In general, the export price, however, showed a notable increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 when the average export price increased by 189%. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $917 per ton, and then declined rapidly in the following year.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Libya ($509 per ton), while the average price for exports to Romania ($255 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Israel (+6.1%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average import price for cereal flour; of maize (corn) stood at $1,615 per ton in 2022, standing approx. at the previous year. Overall, the import price posted a noticeable expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2019 when the average import price increased by 157% against the previous year. The import price peaked in 2022 and is expected to retain growth in the near future.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the Czech Republic ($3,292 per ton), while the price for Georgia ($1,121 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

In general, imports, however, posted a temperate expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 when imports increased by 286%. As a result, imports attained the peak of 18 tons. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, cereal flour; of maize (corn) imports dropped significantly to $8.6K in 2022. Over the period under review, imports, however, continue to indicate a pronounced expansion.
