The average import price for copper; powders of non-lamellar structures stood at $20,719 per ton in July 2023, jumping by 53% against the previous month. Overall, import price indicated a notable increase from July 2022 to July 2023: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +2.0% over the last twelve-month period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on July 2023 figures, copper; powders of non-lamellar structure import price increased by +53.3% against June 2023 indices. The import price peaked at $20,839 per ton in March 2023; however, from April 2023 to July 2023, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In July 2023, the country with the highest price was Germany ($38,326 per ton), while the price for Brazil ($12,083 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Italy (+27.7%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average export price for copper; powders of non-lamellar structures stood at $17,531 per ton in 2022, remaining stable against the previous year. Overall, export price indicated a measured increase from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +3.3% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, copper; powders of non-lamellar structure export price increased by +39.8% against 2014 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 when the average export price increased by 98% against the previous year. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $25,185 per ton. From 2014 to 2022, the average export prices failed to regain momentum.

As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for Bulgaria.

From 2012 to 2022, the rate of growth in terms of prices for Germany amounted to +2.1% per year.
