Over the period under review, the export price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in January 2023 when the average export price increased by 3.3% against the previous month. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $11,856 per ton. From February 2023 to November 2023, the the average export prices remained at a lower figure.
Average prices varied somewhat for the major overseas markets. In November 2023, the highest price was recorded for prices to Vietnam ($13,696 per ton) and China ($11,355 per ton), while the average price for exports to Taiwan (Chinese) ($9,646 per ton) and Singapore ($9,765 per ton) were amongst the lowest.
From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Singapore (+0.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
