In December 2022, the average import price for copper; strip, of a thickness exceeding 0.15mm, of refined copper, in coilses amounted to $10,732 per ton, remaining relatively unchanged against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price, however, showed a slight curtailment. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in October 2022 when the average import price increased by 6.2% m-o-m. From December 2021 to December 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Taiwan (Chinese) (-0.5%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.
