The average import price for tubes and pipes of copper-nickel base alloys (cupro-nickel) or copper-nickel-zinc base alloys (nickel silver) stood at $25,571 per ton in January 2024, growing by 61% against the previous month. Overall, import price indicated a buoyant increase from January 2023 to January 2024: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +5.0% over the last twelve months. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on January 2024 figures, import price for tubes and pipes of copper-nickel base alloys (cupro-nickel) or copper-nickel-zinc base alloys (nickel silver) decreased by -3.7% against November 2023 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in November 2023 when the average import price increased by 80% month-to-month. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $26,560 per ton. From December 2023 to January 2024, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
