The average export price for fluorides; fluorosilicates, fluoroaluminates and other complex fluorine saltses stood at $1,903 per ton in December 2022, surging by 6.9% against the previous month. Over the period from December 2021 to December 2022, it increased at an average monthly rate of +2.9%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in February 2022 an increase of 14% month-to-month. The export price peaked at $2,008 per ton in August 2022; however, from September 2022 to December 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Average prices varied noticeably for the major external markets. In December 2022, the countries with the highest prices were Brazil ($2,082 per ton) and South Africa ($1,989 per ton), while the average price for exports to Qatar ($1,762 per ton) and the United Arab Emirates ($1,781 per ton) were amongst the lowest.
From December 2021 to December 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Oman (+3.6%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
