The average import price for furniture; wooden, other than for office, kitchen or bedroom use stood at $52.6 per unit in November 2023, with a decrease of -11.4% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in October 2023 when the average import price increased by 12% against the previous month. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the maximum at $65.1 per unit in April 2023; however, from May 2023 to November 2023, import prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Vietnam ($120 per unit), while the price for the UK ($6.5 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From December 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Germany (+5.1%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average export price for furniture; wooden, other than for office, kitchen or bedroom use stood at $56.9 per unit in November 2023, dropping by -22.9% against the previous month. Overall, the export price recorded a slight slump. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in September 2023 when the average export price increased by 41% m-o-m. The export price peaked at $86.7 per unit in April 2023; however, from May 2023 to November 2023, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In November 2023, the country with the highest price was the United States ($161 per unit), while the average price for exports to Iraq ($9.4 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From December 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Germany (+13.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Imports of Furniture; Wooden, Other than for Office, Kitchen or Bedroom Use in Hungary
