The average export price for glass fibres (including glass wool) and articles thereof (eg yarn, woven fabrics) stood at $1,671 per ton in 2022, growing by 29% against the previous year. In general, export price indicated pronounced growth from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +3.2% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, export price for glass fibres (including glass wool) and articles thereof (eg yarn, woven fabrics) increased by +49.4% against 2020 indices. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2015 an increase of 29%. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $1,672 per ton; afterwards, it flattened through to 2022.
