In 2022, the average export price for mollusc preparations; snails, other than sea snails, prepared or preserveds amounted to $3,072 per ton, reducing by -3.5% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price showed a perceptible reduction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 an increase of 42%. The export price peaked at $4,844 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.

Over the period under review, exports continue to indicate a significant expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 with an increase of 45% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports of reached the maximum in 2022 and are likely to see steady growth in the immediate term.
