In 2022, the average import price for nickel; bars, rods and profiles, not alloyeds amounted to $75,353 per ton, with an increase of 31% against the previous year. Overall, the import price enjoyed a prominent increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when the average import price increased by 114%. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs in 2022 and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
