The average import price for offal, edible; of swine, (other than livers), frozen stood at $2,266 per ton in December 2023, stabilizing at the previous month. Overall, the import price saw a slight reduction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in November 2023 when the average import price increased by 2.2% against the previous month. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the maximum at $2,856 per ton in January 2023; however, from February 2023 to December 2023, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Average prices varied somewhat amongst the major supplying countries. In December 2023, the highest price was recorded for prices from the United States ($2,501 per ton) and France ($2,498 per ton), while the price for Canada ($1,859 per ton) and the UK ($1,872 per ton) were amongst the lowest.

From December 2022 to December 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Canada (-1.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.
