In 2022, the average import price for sugars; fructose, chemically pure, in solid form amounted to $1,291 per ton, rising by 32% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The import price peaked at $1,680 per ton in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was China ($1,875 per ton), while the price for Turkey ($1,097 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Hong Kong SAR ($83,000 per ton), while the average price for exports to Myanmar stood at $4,625 per ton.

From 2013 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Hong Kong SAR (+372.7%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, imports of sugars; fructose, chemically pure, in solid form into Thailand fell to 1.7K tons, which is down by -3.7% on the year before. Overall, imports saw a relatively flat trend pattern.
