In November 2023, the average import price for turbines; gas-turbines (excluding turbo-jets and turbo-propellers), of a power exceeding 5000kWs amounted to $672K per unit, with a decrease of -24.2% against the previous month. In general, the import price recorded a pronounced setback. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in May 2023 when the average import price increased by 227% month-to-month. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $1.3M per unit. From June 2023 to November 2023, the average import prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In November 2023, the country with the highest price was the United States ($712K per unit), while the price for Italy ($432K per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Italy (+23.1%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.

The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2013 when the average export price increased by 1,965% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the maximum at $3,919,018 per unit in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was the Netherlands ($3,325,448 per unit), while the average price for exports to Vietnam ($139,190 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the UK (+54.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Over the period under review, imports, however, continue to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of 8.5% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of $151M, and then declined slightly in the following year.
