The average export price for vegetables, brassica; brussel sprouts, fresh or chilleds stood at $1,870 per ton in 2022, remaining relatively unchanged against the previous year. In general, the export price recorded a buoyant expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 when the average export price increased by 78%. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $2,300 per ton in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Gabon ($2,915 per ton), while the average price for exports to Central African Republic totaled $1,862 per ton.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Gabon (+21.5%).

The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 when the average import price increased by 45% against the previous year. Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was France ($2,895 per ton), while the price for Belgium amounted to $1,585 per ton.
