In 2022, the average import price for vegetables, brassica; brussel sprouts, fresh or chilleds amounted to $1,575 per ton, rising by 23% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price enjoyed noticeable growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 when the average import price increased by 134%. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs in 2022 and is likely to see steady growth in years to come.
