The average wood chips and particles export price stood at $48 per cubic meter in 2022, reducing by -11.4% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, showed a notable increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2016 an increase of 258% against the previous year. The export price peaked at $325 per cubic meter in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for Niger.
