Over the period under review, imports recorded significant growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when imports increased by 61%. Imports peaked in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in years to come.

In value terms, imports of yarn; of hemp (cannabis sativa l.)s surged to $2.2K in 2022. Overall, imports posted a significant expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 when imports increased by 49% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports of reached the maximum in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the near future.
