In July 2023, the average zinc; waste and scrap import price amounted to $2,249 per ton, approximately mirroring the previous month. In general, the import price showed a slight slump. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in January 2023 an increase of 4.8% m-o-m. The import price peaked at $2,733 per ton in July 2022; however, from August 2022 to July 2023, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by France (-0.7%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.
