Radiator Price in Poland (FOB) - 2023
The average radiator export price stood at $3,168 per ton in May 2023, waning by -2.6% against the previous month. In general, the export price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in March 2023 an increase of 12% month-to-month. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $3,572 per ton in September 2022; however, from October 2022 to May 2023, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In May 2023, the country with the highest price was France ($6,837 per ton), while the average price for exports to Romania ($2,282 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From May 2022 to May 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to France (+8.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Radiator Price in Poland (CIF) - 2023
The average radiator import price stood at $2,611 per ton in May 2023, which is down by -2.9% against the previous month. Over the last twelve-month period, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.6%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in December 2022 when the average import price increased by 33% against the previous month. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $3,143 per ton. From January 2023 to May 2023, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In May 2023, the country with the highest price was Belgium ($6,515 per ton), while the price for Sweden ($1,362 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From May 2022 to May 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Sweden (+3.1%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Radiator Exports in Poland
In 2022, the amount of radiators for central heating (not electrically heated) exported from Poland contracted remarkably to 67K tons, with a decrease of -25.6% compared with 2021 figures. Over the period under review, exports showed a abrupt contraction. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 when exports increased by 2.7% against the previous year. As a result, the exports attained the peak of 91K tons, and then declined sharply in the following year.
In value terms, radiator exports amounted to $266M in 2022. The total export value increased at an average annual rate of +11.2% over the period from 2019 to 2022; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 with an increase of 21% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports attained the peak figure in 2022 and are likely to see gradual growth in the immediate term.

Radiator Imports in Poland
After three years of growth, supplies from abroad of radiators for central heating (not electrically heated) decreased by -17.3% to 37K tons in 2022. In general, imports, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 when imports increased by 19%. As a result, imports reached the peak of 45K tons, and then shrank rapidly in the following year.
In value terms, radiator imports dropped to $90M in 2022. The total import value increased at an average annual rate of +7.5% over the period from 2019 to 2022; the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of 25%. As a result, imports reached the peak of $92M, and then shrank modestly in the following year.
