In 2022, the average sheep; live import price amounted to $62 per unit, therefore, remained relatively stable against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, showed a pronounced downturn. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2015 when the average import price increased by 34%. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $132 per unit. From 2016 to 2022, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
