Sugar Beet Price in Germany (FOB) - 2022
In 2022, the average sugar beet export price amounted to $52 per ton, which is down by -5.1% against the previous year. Overall, the export price showed a perceptible curtailment. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 when the average export price increased by 67%. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $138 per ton. From 2014 to 2022, the average export prices failed to regain momentum.

In 2022, overseas purchases of sugar beet were finally on the rise to reach 1.8K tons after two years of decline. Over the period under review, imports, however, saw a dramatic contraction.
