In 2023, after three years of growth, there was significant decline in purchases abroad of semiconductor thyristors, diacs and triacs, when their volume decreased by X% to X units. In general, imports, however, recorded a tangible expansion. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 when imports increased by X% against the previous year. The volume of import peaked at X units in 2022, and then contracted significantly in the following year.
In value terms, semiconductor thyristor imports shrank significantly to $X in 2023. Overall, imports, however, continue to indicate a notable increase.
