In 2023, Poland (X tons) was the largest exporter of herrings (prepared or preserved), committing X% of total exports. Belarus (X tons) took a X% share (based on physical terms) of total exports, which put it in second place, followed by Lithuania (X%) and Latvia (X%). Russia (X tons) followed a long way behind the leaders.

Poland experienced a relatively flat trend pattern with regard to volume of exports of herrings (prepared or preserved).
