In value terms, Russia ($X) remains the largest electric rotary converter supplier in Eastern Europe, comprising 47% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was held by Poland ($X), with a 20% share of total exports. It was followed by the Czech Republic, with a 12% share.

In Russia, electric rotary converter exports plunged by an average annual rate of -3.9% over the period from 2012-2021. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Poland (-8.5% per year) and the Czech Republic (-0.4% per year).

In general, imports recorded a deep contraction. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2018 with an increase of 50% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum at X units in 2020, and then declined notably in the following year.

In value terms, electric rotary converter imports declined rapidly to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports showed a deep downturn. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 when imports increased by 79%. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at $X in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.
