Electric Rotary Converter Market Size in Europe

In 2021, the Europe electric rotary converter market decreased by -11.6% to $X for the first time since 2017, thus ending a three-year rising trend. Over the period under review, consumption, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. In value terms, Germany ($X) remains the largest electric rotary converter supplier in Europe, comprising 58% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was held by Spain ($X), with a 5.8% share of total exports. It was followed by the UK, with a 5.7% share.

In Germany, electric rotary converter exports decreased by an average annual rate of -8.3% over the period from 2012-2021. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Spain (-13.9% per year) and the UK (-3.4% per year).

The export price in Europe stood at $X per unit in 2021, which is down by -24.8% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price continues to indicate a slight downturn. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 when imports increased by 62%. As a result, imports attained the peak of X units, and then shrank significantly in the following year.

In value terms, electric rotary converter imports rose slightly to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports continue to indicate a pronounced setback. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 when imports increased by 14%. As a result, imports attained the peak of $X. Imports into the Netherlands increased at an average annual rate of +7.0% from 2012 to 2021. At the same time, Switzerland (+19.1%) and Denmark (+3.9%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Switzerland emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in Europe, with a CAGR of +19.1% from 2012-2021. By contrast, the UK (-6.9%), Sweden (-7.5%), France (-12.7%) and Poland (-13.9%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. While the share of the Netherlands (+33 p.p.) and Switzerland (+3.1 p.p.) increased significantly in terms of the total imports from 2012-2021, the share of Sweden (-1.6 p.p.), Poland (-4.1 p.p.), France (-5.3 p.p.) and the UK (-8.3 p.p.) displayed negative dynamics. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
