The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2023 figures, exports increased by X% against 2020 indices. Exports by Country
Israel was the key exporter of wine in MENA, with the volume of exports recording X litres, which was near X% of total exports in 2023. Turkey (X litres) held the second position in the ranking, followed by Morocco (X litres) and Lebanon (X litres). All these countries together took near X% share of total exports. The United Arab Emirates (X litres) took a little share of total exports.
Israel was also the fastest-growing in terms of the wine exports, with a CAGR of X% from 2012 to 2023. At the same time, Turkey (X%), the United Arab Emirates (X%) and Lebanon (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Morocco experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. Israel (X p.p.) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the total exports, while Lebanon and Morocco saw its share reduced by X% and X% from 2012 to 2023, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2023 figures, imports increased by X% against 2020 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2022 when imports increased by X% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of X litres, and then dropped in the following year.
