Moreover, Germany emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in the world, with a CAGR of +9.1% from 2012-2021. By contrast, the United States (-10.9%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. From 2012 to 2021, the share of China, Germany and Belgium increased by +4, +3.4 and +1.7 percentage points, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, the largest glass fiber supplying countries from Puerto Rico were China ($X), the United States ($X) and Germany ($X), together comprising 44% of total exports.

Germany, with a CAGR of +10.1%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, among the main exporting countries over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
