Almond Price in Lithuania (CIF) - 2022
In 2022, the average almond import price amounted to $8,079 per ton, standing approx. at the previous year. Over the period from 2012 to 2022, it increased at an average annual rate of +3.9%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 when the average import price increased by 38%. The import price peaked in 2022 and is expected to retain growth in the immediate term.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Germany ($8,238 per ton), while the price for the Netherlands ($3,629 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

Almond Price in Lithuania (FOB) - 2022
In 2022, the average almond export price amounted to $6,215 per ton, falling by -4.1% against the previous year. In general, the export price recorded a noticeable contraction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 when the average export price increased by 7.9% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $10,210 per ton in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Latvia ($7,194 per ton), while the average price for exports to Poland ($3,975 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Finland (-3.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.
Almond Imports in Lithuania
In 2022, the amount of almonds imported into Lithuania fell modestly to 44 tons, shrinking by -4.8% against the previous year's figure. Over the period under review, imports, however, recorded a resilient expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of 204% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of 46 tons, and then dropped in the following year.
In value terms, almond imports dropped slightly to $353K in 2022. In general, imports, however, showed resilient growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of 243%. As a result, imports attained the peak of $366K, and then reduced in the following year.

Almond Exports in Lithuania
