Imitation Jewellery Price in Poland (CIF) - 2023
In June 2023, the average imitation jewellery import price amounted to $69,308 per ton, reducing by -5.9% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in March 2023 an increase of 83% against the previous month. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $78,046 per ton. From April 2023 to June 2023, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Italy ($172K per ton), while the price for the Netherlands ($47,930 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the Netherlands (+4.9%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Imitation Jewellery Price in Poland (FOB) - 2022
The average imitation jewellery export price stood at $62,552 per ton in 2022, jumping by 18% against the previous year. In general, the export price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 when the average export price increased by 46%. The export price peaked at $85,618 per ton in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Austria ($138,146 per ton), while the average price for exports to Slovakia ($10,758 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Italy (+6.5%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Imitation Jewellery Imports in Poland
In 2022, imports of imitation jewelry into Poland skyrocketed to 2.2K tons, growing by 26% compared with 2021 figures. The total import volume increased at an average annual rate of +13.0% over the period from 2019 to 2022; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded in certain years. As a result, imports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
In value terms, imitation jewellery imports skyrocketed to $137M in 2022. Overall, total imports indicated a significant increase from 2019 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of +22.9% over the last three years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, imports increased by +85.4% against 2019 indices. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 when imports increased by 37%. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs in 2022 and are likely to see gradual growth in the near future.

Imitation Jewellery Exports in Poland
In 2022, after three years of growth, there was significant decline in shipments abroad of imitation jewelry, when their volume decreased by -22.9% to 1.2K tons. In general, exports, however, recorded a significant increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of 112%. As a result, the exports reached the peak of 1.6K tons, and then declined dramatically in the following year.
In value terms, imitation jewellery exports contracted to $76M in 2022. Overall, exports, however, recorded a prominent expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 when exports increased by 67%. As a result, the exports attained the peak of $84M, and then shrank in the following year.
