The average import price for citrus fruits not elsewhere classified stood at $1,451 per ton in July 2023, declining by -7.1% against the previous month. In general, the import price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in November 2022 when the average import price increased by 26% month-to-month. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $2,552 per ton. From December 2022 to July 2023, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.

Over the period under review, the export price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 an increase of 50% against the previous year. The export price peaked at $2,113 per ton in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Switzerland ($3,757 per ton), while the average price for exports to Slovakia ($730 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
