In 2022, the average export price for nuts, edible; macadamia, fresh or dried, in shells amounted to $1,852 per ton, reducing by -4.7% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price continues to indicate a abrupt shrinkage. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 when the average export price increased by 41%. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $2,992 per ton in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for Vietnam.
From 2018 to 2022, the rate of growth in terms of prices for Thailand amounted to +37.0% per year.
