In June 2023, the average export price for coriander seeds, neither crushed nor ground amounted to $2,192 per ton, leveling off at the previous month. Over the last twelve-month period, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.5%. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in February 2023 an increase of 10% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the peak figure at $2,494 per ton in November 2022; however, from December 2022 to June 2023, the export prices remained at a lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major export markets. In June 2023, the country with the highest price was Germany ($2,534 per ton), while the average price for exports to Sri Lanka ($1,660 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to France (+4.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
