Vegetable Price in Tunisia (FOB) - 2022
The average vegetable export price stood at $1,566 per ton in 2022, remaining stable against the previous year. In general, the export price, however, saw a prominent expansion. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 an increase of 81%. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $2,301 per ton. From 2021 to 2022, the average export prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Spain ($3,875 per ton), while the average price for exports to Libya ($466 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Germany (+19.8%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average vegetable import price stood at $681 per ton in 2022, declining by -3.4% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, posted a tangible expansion.
